Thomas B. Wilinsky has practiced law for more than twenty years. Mr. Wilinsky has a Bachelor’s Degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Economics from Connecticut College, where he a was member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and a Master of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from New York University. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Wilinsky was a Financial Analyst in the Economic Research group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. A 1991 graduate of New York University School of Law, Mr. Wilinsky was a staff editor of the New York University Review of Law and Social Change, in which he published a note, Mending the Safety Net’s Safety Net: The Federal Courts Study Committee’s Proposals for Reforming the Social Security Disability Benefits Review Process, 18 N.Y.U. Rev. L. & Soc. Ch. 1079 (1990-1991). After graduating from law school, Mr. Wilinsky served as a law clerk to the Hon. Barbara A. Lee, United States Magistrate Judge, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York from 1991 to 1993. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Wilinsky was associated with Leventhal & Slade, a federal litigation boutique.

Mr. Wilinsky concentrates in commercial, employment and civil litigation and is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of New York and New Jersey. Reported cases include Biancone v. Bossi, 806 N.Y.S.2d 694 (2d Dep’t 2005); Hassan v. Bellmarc Prop. Mgmts. Svcs., Inc. 784 N.Y.S.2d 523 (1st Dep’t 2004); Harlem Commonwealth Council, Inc. v. Thomas Memorial Wesleyan Methodist Church, 782 N.Y.S. 2d 83 (1st Dep’t 2004); Kennedy v. Sprague, No. 02 Civ. 8590 (DLC), 2003 WL 43378 (S.D.N.Y. Jan. 7, 2003); and In re Crazy Eddie Securities Litigation, 948 F. Supp. 1154 (E.D.N.Y. 1996). In addition to commercial and civil litigation, Mr. Wilinsky concentrates in estate planning, trusts and estates administration and probate, as well as family law matters.

Mr. Wilinsky has been named a “Superlawyer”.
